Minister Milena Stoycheva and the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland H.E. Maciej Szymanski discussed bilateral cooperation in the field of innovation and the development of startup ecosystems in both countries. Minister Stoycheva and H.P. Szymanski confirmed that they will work to strengthen the partnership between Bulgaria and Poland for the better positioning of Central and Eastern Europe in the field of innovation.
The Minister of Innovation and Growth presented the main priorities to her team. “Our ambition is to build a new image of Bulgaria as a good place for entrepreneurs, to create innovations and to attract investments with high added value. We have programs to support the development and implementation of innovations in Bulgarian companies”, said Minister Stoycheva. The two also discussed the development of policies in the education and culture sectors, through which to promote the economic development of the countries.
Minister Stoycheva and the ambassador agreed to deepen the cooperation between experts from both countries for the development of the Bill for the Promotion of Electric Mobility. The Ministry of Innovation and Growth is preparing the bill in implementation of the reforms under the Recovery and resilience plan for Bulgaria. Ambassador Szymanski introduced the minister to the regulations in Poland regarding electric mobility.
Minister Stoycheva and H.E. Szymanski discussed the participation of the two countries in the “Three Seas” Initiative and investments in regional connectivity.
