The Minister of Innovation and Growth Milena Stoycheva and the Ambassador of the Republic of Rwanda to the State of Israel H.E. Mr. James Gatera, also accredited for the Republic of Bulgaria, discussed the possibilities for the development of bilateral economic relations and for cooperation in the field of innovation.
Minister Stoycheva introduced H.E. Mr. James Gatera with the priorities of the Ministry of Innovation and Growth. Among them, he pointed out the attraction of high-tech investments and the development of research and development activities in the sectors of information and communication technologies, mechatronics and microelectronics, industry for a healthy life, bioeconomy and biotechnology and circular economy. Minister Stoycheva pointed out that Bulgaria is a preferred country for launching start-up companies and that the automotive sector in our country is well developed.
“The Ministry of Innovation and Growth has launched an initiative to turn Bulgaria into an innovation hub in Southeast Europe. We work consistently to develop partnerships with other countries in the region,” said Minister Stoycheva.
