Mila Nenova has been appointed executive director of the Bulgarian Investment Agency (BIA) by order of the Minister of Innovation and Growth, Milena Stoycheva.
Mila Nenova has a Master of Laws from the Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. Since 2016, she has been the director of Confindustria Bulgaria – the association of Italian business in Bulgaria. She has experience in managing and creating bilateral economic ties and promoting Bulgaria as a good investment destination. She also has experience in the field of human resources management and industrial relations, as well as European projects.
“I am convinced that together we can turn Bulgaria into an attractive place for investments based on talent and opportunities for commercialization of scientific and development activities in various sectors. I think we can develop the most high-tech of them, based on the new wave of innovation, and thus build a constructive bilateral relationship. I rely very much on the Bulgarian Investment Agency team to support us in achieving these goals and to turn Bulgaria into an innovation hub for Southeast Europe,” said Minister Stoycheva during the presentation of Nenova to the agency’s employees. The Minister said that the Bulgarian Investment Agency has a huge potential that must be deployed in order to strengthen the country’s economic growth and increase its competitiveness.
“We will focus our efforts on attracting key investors in high-tech industries. I count on the young and enthusiastic team of Bulgarian Investment Agency to develop and respond to the vision of the Minister of Innovation and Growth by promoting Bulgaria as an attractive destination for high-tech companies”, said Nenova.
