Innovation and Growth Minister Daniel Lorer Friday met with Ukrainian engineers who arrived in Bulgaria with their families on one of the last civilian flights. IT companies are helping them settle down.
Lorer said: “We are doing our best to help more people work and live in a calm environment. In these hard times the sense of helplessness is terrible, but we believe that you will emerge stronger and more united than ever.” He welcomed the Ukrainians to Bulgaria, saying: “You can rely on our help.”
The Foreign Ministry’s Situation Centre, supported by Lorer and business representatives, is sparing no effort to ensure the evacuation of Bulgarians from Ukraine, the minister said.
