Requirements, procedures, instructions
Issue of certificates of circumstances under Article 24, paragraph 1, item 20, Article 25, paragraph 1, item 7, item 13 and Article 25, paragraph 1, item 16 of the Foreigners in the Republic of Bulgaria Act
The Ministry of Innovation and Growth shall issue certificates of the existence of circumstances under Article 24, paragraph 1, item 20, Article 25, paragraph 1, item 7, item 13 and Article 25, paragraph 1, item 16 of the Foreigners in the Republic of Bulgaria Act, which shall be presented to the authorities of the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in addition to the other documents required for obtaining a visa or residence permit. The certificates issued certify investments made by foreigners in the territory of the country through investments made in the capital of Bulgarian companies as a result of which fixed tangible assets have been acquired and new jobs have been created, as well as their participation in the implementation of certified investment projects under the Investment Promotion Act.
Issuance of a merit document under Article 45, item 4 of the Implementing Regulations of the Foreigners in the Republic of Bulgaria Act
The Ministry of Innovation and Growth shall issue a merit document under Article 45, item 4 of the Regulations for the Implementation of the Foreigners in the Republic of Bulgaria Act, which shall be presented to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Interior in a procedure for the issuance of a visa or a permit for long-term or permanent residence. The document shall certify personal services rendered by the foreigner to the Republic of Bulgaria in the economic sphere.
